Building volunteer teams

Knies Kinderzoo ist eine zoologische Einrichtung in Rapperswil mit rund 400 Tieren über 45 Arten. Seit 1962 bietet der Zoo ein hautnahes Tiererlebnis für Gross und Klein. Knies Kinderzoo und Knies Zauberhut gehören zur Gebrüder Knie, Schweizer National-Circus AG.

To support us, we are in the process of building a 

Volunteer teams

for the following tasks: 

  • Receiving control and reception
  • Information person at the zoo entrance, on the zoo grounds and in Knies Zauberhut
  • Supervision and information in the human-animal encounter zone with the goats
  • Unterstützung bei den Reitaktivitäten 
  • Operation of the information sites 
  • Unterstützung bei Zooaktivitäten, Veranstaltungen und Workshops

You:

  • are at least 18 years old
  • enjoy animals and zoo operations
  • appreciate contact with people
  • are willing to work irregular hours, especially on weekends, public holidays and during school holidays.
  • are balanced and resilient
